In Yoruba cosmology, Ori represents the individual's spiritual essence and destiny, the divine blueprint connecting them to the universe. Similarly, the bindu, as the primordial seed in Hindu cosmology, is the point of creation and infinite potential.

It is an invitation to ground into your own Ori - your unique centre, whilst simultaneously connecting to the boundless possibilities of existence. This act of centering aligns the self with the rhythms of the universe, fostering balance, clarity, and deep awareness.
Humming creates an internal resonance that helps to focus the mind and body, enabling an alignment with one's own fundamental tone — your personal vibration that resonates with the universe.
Interacting with the SUN DISC in tandem with your humming practice becomes a powerful tool for mindfulness. The act of humming slows the breath and focuses the mind, fostering deeper awareness of one's inner world and connection to ancestral or intuitive wisdom.

Edition no. 3 and 4, SUN DISC v.1
Each disc contains an interpretation of the sun disc crescent moon symbol incorporating elements derived from the original ‘~Resonant Frequencies’ exhibition. Discs are grouped according to material and sonic aspects of the installation. Within Central Sun Frequency (editions 1 - 6) you’ll find organic elements such as sunflowers and other dried yellow flowers, gold leaf and dichroic foil. A carefully positioned flower evokes a flickering flame, or the Divine spark that resides within each of us.

Each disc is a unique embodiment of presence and balance, shipped in its own sacred vessel - a custom gold metallic foil embossed presentation box. A vessel for harmony, highlighting its role as both an artefact and meditative tool, supplied with a black or white candle.
The SUN DISC is a relic, a device, and an anchor in time. It’s more than art—it’s a practice in presence. It invites us to see ourselves anew, through the lens of balance and reflection.

SUN DISC v.1 is available in an edition of 28+5AP. There are two versions of the disc: editions 1-14 are dark, editions 15-28 are light. Each disc is £369. Postage and packing is charged separately at £25(UK) and £35(international) to include a custom signed and numbered presentation box, booklet with guidance and practice, candle with holder and motion spotlight for display with tracked delivery.
