In celebration of ‘The Central Sun’ completing its second orbit in space I have produced my first handmade edition SUN DISC v.1

First appearing in my work back in 2019 (as part of ‘Breathless’ at Ce’Pesaro Venice), it came into prominence as part of my ‘~Resonant Frequencies’ solo exhibition at Migros Museum, Zurich in 2022 and went on to be exhibited as part of the 60th Venice Biennial. Living with, and regularly meditating on this symbol of balance and harmony has proved transformational in my own development and I want something of what it’s offered me to be able to live with you too! It’s what I have always wanted for my immersive installations, consider these miniature versions of the Portal Unit.

Each disc contains an interpretation of the Sun Disc Crescent Moon symbol incorporating elements derived from the original ‘~Resonant Frequencies’ exhibition. Discs are grouped according to material and sonic aspects of the installation. Within Oceanic Sage (editions 12-19 you’ll find organic elements such as chalk, epsom salt, seaweed, and sea shells. These materials are collected during mindful walks with each element arranged to evoke balance. The resin is poured with love and intention. Presence guides my decision-making, ensuring every disc is unique and resonates with its future owner.

‘Oceanic Sage explores our human relationship to water – as ancestor, repository of knowledge, as life sustainer...In the depths of the sea I receive interstellar communications - frequencies. Yemoja greets me on arrival and Olokun, as well as other supportive water divinities meet me in the depths. Simultaneously buoyant, weightless and anchored, I make a home for myself here. But then, waves crashing, a tide carries me upwards and I am caressed back to shore, bubbling. Only then do I come up for air.’

It was Nikola Tesla who said that if you want to understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. He also believed that the numbers 369 were key to unlocking the secrets of our universe. Each disc is imbued with the divine frequency that these numbers hold, a powerful tool for harnessing harmony and presence when you need it.

‘SUN DISC v.1’ is the prototype, an edition of 28 resin discs, each 9.8cm in diameter. This series is available in an edition of 28+5AP. There are two versions of the disc: editions 1-14 are dark, editions 15-28 are light.

Each disc is £369. Postage and packing is charged separately at £25(UK) and £35(international) to include a custom signed and numbered presentation box, tracked delivery, candle with holder and motion spotlight for display.
